Speaking with Variety, James Earl Jones, known to scifi nerds everywhere as the menacing voice of Darth Vader, but who is also a gifted actor with more than his share of stage and screen successes, discussed whether or not he would make a return the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII scheduled to hit theaters in 2015. The 83 year old actor also discussed racial issues of an historical nature in relation to his work in the stage version of Driving Miss Daisy, which is being released on film in 500 theaters across the country.

When asked if he would be returning for the role that helped to make him a house-hold name; "Oh no. I’ve got no illusions that I will or even hankerings to be in them, but I’m very proud to have been part of the original," Mr. Jones told Variety.

Asked if he will see the new film when it comes out: "Perhaps. I have no idea where they’ll go with it, but I hope they sustain the success of the first ones and do it well."
